- Who is behind Canvas and Cub?
Hi! I’m Augusta, founder of Canvas and Cub
I am a mum of three kids ages four and under, and I am on a mission to help families get outdoors and adventuring (even with the tiniest explorers).
Before having kids I used to love the freedom of packing my backpack to head out on an epic expedition; hiking up mountains, jumping on and off trains (and out of planes).
Since becoming a parent my weekends soon revolved around endless hours at the same playground, soft play area, or in front of a screen (which sent my kids wild).
I craved my adventurous days, but juggling kids and a full time job I ran out of time and energy to find outdoor activities which suited my young children’s needs.
This led me to create Canvas and Cub, and I’ve been traveling the British Isles with my kids on a mission to uncover and share the ultimate wild but family friendly experiences.
